Seller's comments about 2001' BMW 5 Series 525I

I am selling my e39 525i, which I have had since 2023. M54b25 engine on a double vanos and a manual 6-speed gearbox. I bought the car from the second owner, after an engine overhaul worth EUR 4,500, performed with a mileage of 297,000 km. With a mileage of 301,500 km, I installed an LPG system (STAG). Since then, I have done 25,000 km, I performed an oil service every 8,000 km, in April 2026 I inspected the LPG installation along with replacing the filters. In addition to replacing consumables and oil services on an ongoing basis, I had the entire car professionally soundproofed, in particular: doors, roof, wheel arches. In the interior: the headliner and pillars were covered with new material, matched to the color of the wooden decors, the center armrest and the door panels. they are trimmed with the same material as the headliner on the side, nappa leather on top and filled with upholstery silicone foam underneath, the steering wheel is covered with nappa leather, while maintaining the original thickness of the steering wheel rim. The whole thing has retained the BMW atmosphere, thanks to the 6-speed gearbox the car is perfect for routes, the soundproofing gives exceptional comfort to a car already well soundproofed from the factory, and the engine performs equally well in the city and on the road. Thanks LPG installation, fuel consumption ranges from 10 liters (with proper driving) to 13 liters (with normal driving). The car is complete. no corrosion, protected against corrosion with chassis maintenance waxes. All chassis covers, including wheel arches, were removed, the chassis washed and protected with special wax, made in a specialized workshop. I carried out full detailing both inside and outside, a ceramic coating was applied to the car in September 2025. The equipment is fully consistent with the VIN, the car is accident-free, unpainted, does not require any financial contribution, all operating elements are replaced on an ongoing basis. No signs of corrosion. The only drawbacks are stone chips on the engine cover and the front bumper, scratches on the rear bumper and a dent on the rear left quarter (visible in the photos).
