2005' Dodge Dakota

A car for fans and connoisseurs of the American automotive industry:

Dodge Dakota (sometimes called "Baby RAM"), born in '05, 3.7 V6 AT 2WD, the car previously had two owners in Poland, imported from the States (first registered in Florida), in our hands for 8 years.

The car was used as a passenger car for everyday driving, except for incidental help with friends' relocations, it only used tourist equipment.

Compared to other mid-size pickups of Japanese, European and other Americans, it offers a much better driving dynamics similar to passenger cars, while maintaining the solidity of the truck, contributing to a large number of fans of the model in its home country. In Poland, an almost exotic car that stands out on the street.

6-person version, currently registered for 5 people.

The car has an automatic transmission, cruise control and electric windows (front and rear), driver's seat and mirrors. The car is also equipped with a remote gate opening system (which we ourselves have never used). ON SALE WITHOUT BULLBAR!

The car starts without any problems (and it has never had any), the engine runs smoothly, without any knocks, does not throw any errors, the gearbox works flawlessly.

The car is serviced on a regular basis, it has recently undergone an oil service, filter replacement, and the ends of the rods and stabilizer rubber have also been replaced.

Currently without a gas installation, although it was installed in the past. The car burns approx. 18 liters in the city, on the road it goes down to approx. 16 - unfortunately there is no help for this, it is simply a feature of the engine.

The car has several drawbacks:

Although the wheel arches have been treated with anti-corrosive paint, the right wheel arch and door have a few rust spots at the bottom, the tailgate of the crate also has a few abrasions and rust spots - this is a typical problem for this model;

- Due to the confrontation with the boar in the past, there was a slight shift of the bonnet and the paint peeling from the top of the radiator grille (the car frame did not suffer any damage)

- There is a stain several centimeters in diameter in the center of the rear seat;

- For some reason, the front tweeters creak - with the right mixer setting with the sound transferred more to the rear speakers, it is not persistent, but it makes the maximum volume of listening to music a little lower;

- In the car, due to the lack of a brake cable, the manual does not work - the repair should not be a problem, we did not deal with it, because due to the automatic transmission it was never used in the car;

- Despite adjusting the factory symmetrical headlights to European conditions, as is very often the case with cars produced for the American domestic market, the car is often not welcome at Polish regional stations, so it is necessary to look for those driven by people with a more rational approach than formalists . ;)

We issue the announcement with a heartache, because we have a great sentiment for this car, but due to the need to have a four-wheel drive car and the above-mentioned technical issues, on which we are not able to find time, we hope that there will be a person eager to take care of it and will have the chance to please another American motoring fan, ready to show him patience and interest. ;)
