2005' Ford Maverick

I bought the current one in November 2019. I was looking for a second Maverick as mine was smashed backwards by the foam driver. I bought this copy from the Lord who had bought it a few months earlier in Częstochowa. The car had its engine dismantled by the owner from Częstochowa. The car first went to a tinsmith to make the floor, sills and wheel arches. The tinsmith did his job (as can be seen in the photos from the link below). I lined the floor from the inside with soundproofing mats and the upholstery made a new carpet, side panels, armrest and bellows. The factory side and bellows in the maverick are very weak and they like to come off, and the bellows wear quickly. There is now real leather that is normally found in Mercedes. I gave the armrest to the new upholstery for two reasons: 1. the lack of any sponge in the series causes elbow pain, 2. so that it fits well with the bellows. The car originally had light upholstery, which can now be seen on the headliner and side panels. The rest were postponed from my previous maverick. The same mechanically changed the engine, gearbox, drive and suspension from the previous one. We decided to take this step, because in the previous Maverick everything was working. The resignation from the automatic gearbox was dictated by: 1. The condition of the gearbox was unknown 2. The gearboxes are not famous for their reliability, so the manual gearbox is safer. The suspension in the car is imported from the states in the heavy duty version. In addition, the engine has a new timing, a V-belt with all rollers, EBC front brakes, cut discs with green pads, new Textara rear discs, a reinforced shaft (heavy duty crosses), a gearbox and a bridge flooded with new Motula oils. The engine that is currently not running on gas. The owner from Częstowchowa had gas and the cork remained in the bumper.

Of the current things to do in the car is:

1. The door at the bottom is rusty - photos show condition. I have a door from a previous Maverick that is not corroded. The door is armed.

2. The passenger's handle does not return to its position after opening the door. All door handles are also functional on the doors from the previous Maverick.

3. Driver seat sending airbag error. If we do not want this error, the seat should be replaced. The electrician checked the electrics and found that she was ok. Most likely the belt coma gives some error.

4. Awd is not fastening the back. Most likely some wire is damaged. All ABS sensors and rings are replaced.

5. Light abrasion on the driver's side near the tail lamp

I have VAT bills and invoices for all things.
