Seller's comments about 2005' Ford S-Max 2.0 Titanium

For sale I have a Ford S-Max 2.0 petrol 145 HP, 1st generation, purchased at a used car dealership about 3-4 years ago. The car was imported from Germany (first registration on December 21, 2005). The mileage is less than 243,000, and the engine was rebuilt about 1.5 years ago (the repair amounted to PLN 7,000) because 3 of the 4 pots had very low pressure. Everything was done with art, including planning and replacing the head gasket. We have documents from the service center for this. The car has traveled about 15-20,000 km since then (the last time the mechanic did an inspection, he claimed that everything looked as if it had been done a year ago). STAG gas was installed in the car (July 29, 2022). Originally in the trunk compartment (you can see traces of the initial assembly), however, the loading space for a 5-person family was not sufficient, so a compartment for a wheel repair kit was cut out (it was built with high-quality sheet metal) and the cylinder was mounted from the bottom of the car (the filler was led under the petrol filler flap, refueling via a screw-on adapter, the lock was removed so that more gas could enter, now 45-46 liters fit in easily) It has also been repaired recently inter-clock display because previously it displayed only the left half, which could result in it not passing the technical inspection due to the invisible mileage (a common problem in S-Maxes) About 2 weeks ago, oil was added (but it would be worth thinking about replacing it, we deliberately do not change it because it is still a basic activity when replacing a car, which is worth doing, not trusting your word) About a week ago, they were replaced with Iridium Denso and the lambda probe because the "check engine" popped up after the repair, and the car disappeared has gained vitality. Last Friday, the car visited the Honda Dealership for an airbag replacement service. During operation, we replaced brake discs and linings, the thermostat, the radiator fan activation system, and the fuel pipe. The car has Kormoran summer tires (bought in May 2023 for approximately PLN 1,100). For an additional fee (PLN 500), a set of Pirelli winter tires (bought in November 2021 for a little over PLN 1,700) We tried to take care of the car as a member of the family, but unfortunately, despite securing the chassis twice with a bar (apparently the specialist did something wrong), rust got into the door sills, so we had to fight it. Other defects of the car that we know about: - a broken "cykor paw" in the front passenger (the cost of a second-hand used one is about PLN 20-40) - broken right mirror (glued with Powertape, but it needs to be replaced. When changing lanes, it caught on the car in the right lane) - old battery, works, but worth replacing - damaged connection to the right rear passenger's seat belt (it can be attached, but it is a difficult issue, it is worth replacing. We used a child seat there, so we had to fight it once every few months, so we did not replace it. - torn coating material, engine hood soundproofing (when I was looking for it, the soundproofing was expensive PLN 1,500, so we skipped the replacement) - a few broken pins on the hatch lock cover (I don't know what this element is called and whether it is exactly a lock cover, it is located there anyway) - slightly peeling decor on the right door (hooked on the mesh when closing the door) - the fuel filler cap can be used, but it is not the easiest task. I don't remember or know about any other sins. The car was not cleaned. but we can wash and dust it before selling it. It's currently in my father-in-law's garage and we didn't clean it on purpose because we don't know how long it will wait for a new owner. The car was mainly driven by my wife and children. The car was registered as a 7-seat vehicle with a hitch, but thanks to such registration you can add it and drive it without any complications. The car has a current technical inspection (until March 19, 2026) and third party liability insurance (up to 23/03/2026)If anyone has more questions, we will try to answer them. So that you don't have to, I bought a report from carvertical. We are selling the car because we found a newer VW Touran at good money, which I could buy from my employer.
