Seller's comments about 1999' Opel Astra
Please read to the end before asking.
Opel Astra G (II)
A car from a private person.
Thank you to the traders.
Version : 1.6 100HP hatchback
Year of production: 1999
Fuel type : Petrol + gas
Mileage 278,000 km and growing
Electric windows, heated mirrors and rear window, manual air conditioning, radio with USB input.
All replacements/repairs from 2021 documented
Done, among others - front and rear shock absorbers, timing, brake pads and discs, after engine failure due to a poorly connected gas installation (for the previous owner) half of the engine done - treatment of valve seats, new valves, guides, coils, candles etc,
replacement of the muffler in its entirety, serviced air conditioning, replacement of the starter and tie rod ends.

Safe until: 22/04/2024
Approval of the gas cylinder until: 23/10/2029
As you can see above, the car is invested, really nothing.
However, as in any such an old car, there must also be some shortcomings:
- the headliner fell down, now attached to pins
- disconnected EGR system (it was replaced, but still the car had problems at times, which made the decision to disconnect it)
- the antenna from the radio was broken (I didn't use it, so I didn't replace it, the ability to listen to music via AUX / USB / CD)
- Visible scratches and rust
- actuator from the trunk in winter under the weight of snow does not hold the lid (slow descent)
Still, I think the car is perfect for commuting or as a first car.
The car is in constant exploitation until the moment of sale.
Currently, summer tires on alloy wheels, I also add winter tires without rims.
There is also an access road in the trunk.
Possibility to see the vehicle in Rumia, Gdynia and sometimes Sopot after prior contact.
