Seller's comments about 2002' Renault Megane

Renault Megane II for sale, 2002. Advantages: - LPG installation - New battery - Good driving characteristics - Inspection done in July - Periodic inspection of LPG cylinders until 2033 - new left front lamp - replaced front fog lights - recently replaced cabin fan - fresh brake discs Disadvantages - worn-out interior - you can feel the wear on the clutch and in third and fourth gear - when standing in a traffic jam on hot days, the engine temperature on the dashboard increases - exaggerated, does not rust - sometimes the central locking does not engage with the card and you have to open the car with the key a year ago it was used for commuting to work. Previously, it did weekly routes to Strzelin and Jelenia Góra. Very well cared for during this period. Currently, it has been almost unused for a year. Mechanically, the inspection passed without any problems - there were some complaints about the lighting, but they were fixed (including repairing the mass in the rear lighting). Before the sale, to make sure that the car was in decent shape and suitable for sale, I did the Wrocław Łódź route and the car took me on gas and air conditioning in both directions. About 67 liters of gas were consumed. The problem that needs to be addressed is the heating in traffic jams visible on warm days. It appeared last summer and only occurs in traffic jams with the air conditioning on. You can hear something trying to turn on under the hood, the revs increase for a moment, but there is no effect. I thought it was a fan, but the guys in the workshop said it was just a short circuit in the sensor and in fact the temperature did not increase. Personally, I do not agree and for urban driving I would make sure to fix the issue (the air conditioning does not blow properly) and I can physically feel that the temperature is rising. The rest of the issues are just minor inconveniences, such as the front of the radio falling off (you can fully control it from the steering wheel) or broken cable for reclining the passenger seat (the lever for reclining is also available from the bottom of the seat). I invite you for a test drive.
