Seller's comments about 1996' Volkswagen Caravelle
I am selling a Volkswagen Caravelle 2.4 Diesel from 1996, factory facelifted. All the equipment in the car is original. T4 with a manual 5-speed gearbox and an actual mileage of 401,000 km. Please read the entire ad, look at the photos, then call - not the other way around. The car is in overall good technical condition. The engine runs well, starts at the touch of a button, does not smoke. This week the alternator was rebuilt. The car drives, brakes and suspension are functional. Tires in good condition. The equipment includes: - air conditioning (working) - 2 x airbags - additional air vents in the ceiling as in the Multivan + independent control panel for rear air vents - power steering - electric windows - electric mirrors - central locking - radio-manual 5-speed gearbox - fabric upholstery with covers (very strong, sewn from car upholstery) - immobilizer-hook 1900 kg - electrical installation for 2 batteries - 7 seats (as listed in the ID card) - original Webasto (not used for a long time) The car is in overall good condition considering its age, but, like every T4, it qualifies for bodywork and paint repairs in typical places for all T4s. The windshield and pillars around the windshield are in very good condition. A new windshield was installed about 1.5 years ago. The Caravelle also requires good cleaning. The interior itself is not damaged. I think that the car has potential and it is worth taking care of it, especially since it is a good equipment option and the original facelifted hood in an interesting metallic color. For about 17 years, the car had 3 owners in Poland: the importer had it for 2 months, I bought it from him and used it for a year. Then my friend for the last 15 years with an average mileage of 6-8 thousand per year. Little use recently. Now I am its owner again. Due to the fact that I have two other VW T4s, I decided to sell the Caravella. I will provide more information to those interested by phone.
