In recent years, the aftermarket realm has expanded so greatly that even 6x6 creations have become almost mainstream instead of just an odd niche or extreme curiosity. That's mostly thanks to companies like Apocalypse, which only sounds like something catastrophic is about to unfold. Instead, their vehicles seek the honor of being ready for anything, including the end of days, possibly.
As such, it has an entire family of 6x6 models based on models like the Jeep Gladiator or Ram 1500 TRX pickup trucks as well as the Ford Bronco and Land Rover Defender SUVs HellFire (5 or 7 passengers), Nirvana, Juggernaut, StrikeForce, Darkhorse, Warlord, Super Truck, Omega Rex, Sinister 6, or World Ender. The menacing-sounding nameplates are all based on actual models – even the GMC Hummer EV or the Rivian R1T are included in the mix.
Obviously, you can't make a 6x6 out of a modern EV, so certain models have remained 4x4s like they were born in the factory. Just recently, Apocalypse has also decided to work its magic – without the 6x6 customizations – on the full-size pickup truck rivals from Stellantis and FoMoCo: the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX and the 2025 Ford F-150 Raptor R. Funny enough, one is called the Apocalypse Omega Rex and the other is called the Alpha Raptor – can you guess which is which? Obviously, the former is the Ram 1500 TRX, and the other is the Ford F-150 Raptor R.
They both feature about the same modifications – 717 horsepower for the Omega Rex and 720 horsepower from their 6.2-liter supercharged V8 or 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engines, plus sizeable lift kits to accommodate the gold-shaded aftermarket wheels shod on 40-inch all-terrain tires, new steel bumpers and rock rails, plus additional LEDs everywhere. However, there's one catch – the Omega Rex are final editions because the stock for 2024 Ram 1500 TRX models won't last forever after Stellantis decided to axe the nameplate in favor of the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO equipped with a less powerful 540-hp 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six.
On the other hand, the Apocalypse Alpha Raptor won't go out of fashion anytime soon because the Blue Oval just upgraded it to 720 hp and 640 lb-ft alongside the refreshed 2024 Ford F-150 roster. The only problem is that it won't come join your dream garage on the cheap – the company is asking no less than $179,999 for this build if you want to put it under your Christmas tree. Also, if you literally want to do that, you'll need a bigger tree – something along the lines of 40 feet tall!
