Ford Co-Pilot360 active safety equipment to be standard on all models
From the Focus and EcoSport on up to the F-150

Nearly every mainstream automaker is introducing a base active safety suite across its lineup. At an event in Dearborn, Ford  announced it's rolling out Co-Pilot360, its name for driver-assist technologies that will be standard on all new passenger cars, SUVs and trucks up to the F-150, including the upcoming Ford Bronco and Ranger. It also plans to add even more technologies over the next few years.

Standard features for Co-Pilot360 are automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with cross traffic alert, lane-keep assist, auto high beams, and reverse cameras. It should be noted that reverse cameras will be mandated by law for every new car starting May 2018, so this isn't unique to Ford. In 2019, Ford will introduce emergency braking when a vehicle is in reverse, helping prevent drivers from backing into objects.

By 2020, even the E-Series, F-650 and F-750 will benefit from emergency braking. In addition to the standard Co-Pilot360 suite, features like automatic cruise control, evasive steering assist and post-collision braking will be optional.
