Honda Designer Draws New Toyota Supra, Mk IV Influences Look Amazing
While the success of the 2020 Toyota Supra is undeniable, at least if we are to check out the social media waves the sportscar is making, there are still aficioandos who would've rather had the styling influenced by the infamous Mk IV incarnation of the Supra.

And while we've seen plenty of answers to those gear heads' needs, with these obviously coming in the form of renderings, the one we have here comes from Giulio Partisani, a designer who works for Honda.

The pixel dreamer enjoys coming up with ideas for automotbiles outside the H brand in his spare time, which is how we ended up with the 2020 Supra renderings at the bottom of the page.

In fact, Giulia has been dreaming of multiple forms for the current Toyota halo car, with the one we have here being the most recent evolution of the project.

From the silhouette of the car to the rear wing, the nod to the previous generation is obvious. Of course, the rounded details of the Mk IV, which scream "90s", have been replaced with a contemporary approach.

Even so, the designer mentions that the Supra we have here was also influenced by the design of the stunning Mazda RX-Vision concept and if you look at the A-pillars and the roof it all becomes clear.

So this whole contraption is like a pixel answer to a question nobody asked: what if a Honda designer draws a new Supra while seeking inspiration in a Mazda?

Now, to understand just how strong the retro lust mentioned in the intro is, I'll remind you of this 2020 Supra body kit. Paying homage to the 90s model, whose tuner-earned reputation gave the new model an explosive start in life, some consider this package to be the slickest that has shown up so far.
