The Skoda Kamiq looks very similar to the Skoda Karoq. It has subtle differences on a number of elements, including the headlamps, radiator grille, bumpers, quarter glass, tail lamps and tailgate.
The Skoda Kamiq is smaller than the Skoda Karoq. The Skoda Kamiq is 4,390 mm long, 1,781 mm wide and 1,593 mm/1,606 mm tall with a 2,610 mm wheelbase. The Skoda Karoq measures 4,382 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,603 mm/1,607 mm in height. It has a 2,638 mm (FWD)/2,630 mm (AWD) wheelbase. The Chinese Karoq is 50 mm longer than the standard wheelbase version sold globally.
While the Skoda Karoq is available with only turbocharged (petrol/diesel) engines, the Skoda Kamiq uses a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces a maximum output of 81 kW (110 PS).
The Skoda Kamiq is probably a China-only model, and it will slot below the Skoda Karoq in China. The SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture company will manufacture it.
