Seller's comments about 2008' Renault Laguna Tce205 Gt

Hello, I am offering for sale a unique Renault Lagune III in Coupe and top GT versions. Laguna is freshly imported from Germany and registered in Poland. The engine is the most sought-after 2.0 Turbo with 205 HP GT with regular injection, good for gas. The engine is downright archaic because the design has been produced for a very long time without major changes and nowadays simplicity is the greatest advantage because there is not much that can break down and the service costs are very low. It runs smoothly, does not smoke and has great power. The gearbox is also ok, it starts smoothly without jerking and changes gears nicely - no wonder since it's new :) All electric windows and mirrors work. The automatic air conditioning also starts and cools very well. Generally speaking, everything electrically works and I didn't find anything wrong. A brilliant addition is the Bose sound system - in the Laguna it is the best sounding audio I have ever heard in a car. I also have an Audi A6 3.2 V6 with factory Bose and it sounds worse than in the Laguna :) The bass is as if there was a tube in the trunk and it's a pleasure to listen to music. No corrosion on the chassis! As well as on the entire car. The car has a factory double galvanization and it shows. Front and rear lamps are as clear as new. The front lamps are Xenon and look beautiful! I regenerated the headlights by sanding them with grit from 240 to 3000 and then the so-called "teapot" - it will last for years, unlike the polisher itself, which helps on average for 2 months :) The cost of such a service is PLN 600 per set. The paint has a beautiful shine, a uniform structure and holds quite well for its age. I did not polish it because there was no point. The Laguna has quite a low mileage like this model and, what is important, the real mileage. This also translates positively into the visual condition of the car. The inside is in good condition, the buttons are not worn out, there are no holes. after cigarettes, etc. No one smoked or brought any animals there. There is a nice neutral smell inside. Generally speaking, the car is old and must have some traces of use :) It's not a problem for the upholsterer and it's very nice, and I haven't done any re-sewing of the front seat panels - about 90% of the Laguna has cracks in the leather. take care of it. The Laguna is mounted on nice 17' aluminum rims with Hankook tires from 2024. I have 2 keys for the car, and the service book is kept to the very end, i.e. the last entry is dated October 23, 2025. What's worth mentioning, the owner had it serviced at a Renault dealership until 2023 it was done in a given year. The mileage is well documented. I personally imported the Laguna with a damaged gearbox - the German attached an invoice for EUR 1,300 for the disassembly and diagnosis of the gearbox :) I don't know how much the Germans estimated the repair, but I guess the German almost had a heart attack and that's why I sold the Laguna to a mechanic and installed a regenerated gearbox from a reputable company near FransAuto - the cost. PLN 2,999. I've had several gearboxes from them and I've never had any problems, just check their reviews on Google. The gearbox comes with a 12-month warranty. Plus, the LUK dual mass flywheel, i.e. the original one and the LUK clutch slave cylinder, also cost about PLN 900 PLN 7,500, so I put some money into it, but we have a guarantee that it will be fine for the next 200,000 miles. And I've had many Lagunas and these gearboxes, and especially the dual mass, usually reach the 200,000 mark and require replacement. If someone is looking for a car that's not tired and will be pleasing to the eye and will please the wallet thanks to cheap, trouble-free operation, I think it's worth taking a drive and seeing this Laguna.
