I would like to present to you my first car project, which I have been working on as a hobby in the garage for the last year and a half. It is a car for an unconventional person who just likes to stand out in his own way, has his own opinion and does not have to prove anything to anyone.

It is a unique car and I will try to explain to you why. It is a convertible but never rolled off the assembly line in this version in Japan. The coupe versions were exported to the USA, where the legendary ASC company in Long Beach, California, converted them into convertibles. The sills were reinforced, a spacer was inserted into the rear cups and the roof was converted into a folding roof. The cars were produced in this version only in 1997-98. According to the data I managed to reach, less than 5,000 units were produced! Later, due to low sales, Toyota decided to terminate the cooperation. The roof is very solid and attention, it has a glass and heated rear window. The heating in the cabin works great and even on cold days it is very warm and cozy inside.

The engine fires and runs smoothly, with no disturbing noises. It is dry and the only thing you can see is that time passes very slowly. Any day he will have his 25th birthday and somehow you can't see it ...

It is 1.5 L / 4 cylinders / 16 valves and has less than 100KM, but for this weight of about 900 kg, it is enough to have about 11 seconds from 0-100. It's fun to drive outside the city on national roads with fuel consumption not exceeding 6.5l / 100km. The gearbox is manual 5-speed. The wheels are aluminum with a silver rim. All-season tires are fitted.

The design of this vehicle is timeless. It is equipped with semi-sports seats with integrated headrests. Windows and side mirrors are electrically operated. There is a central locking and white sports clocks. The tailgate lock is insane! The logo tilts upwards and after inserting the key, a special latch activates the logo closing mechanism. After removing the key, it locks itself. Nobody does such things anymore. The body proportions are perfect and 4 people can travel together.

How do I want to convince you to buy? I spent a lot of time and funds on it, see the list below:

1. New folding roof sheathing, like the original - material: vinyl. Made to order in the USA. The roof structure was checked for wear and adjustments were made. Now the roof is stiff and tight.

2. The battery is almost new, it is one season. For the winter it was charged with a microprocessor charger.

3. The elements of the rear suspension with shock absorbers were replaced.

4. The car has been inspected with a new stamp in the registration certificate.

5. Operating matters, such as air filter, oil - replaced.

6. There is a new thermostat, the previous one did not open the water circuit at the right moment.

And many other details that are not visible at first glance.
