Seller's comments about 2003' Volkswagen New Beetle 2.0
Hello, I am selling my beloved Beetle. This is my first car. I didn't plan him sale, but I got a bargain Toyota Prius from a friend, hence the decision to sell it. I replaced a lot of things in the car. At the very beginning, I installed the timing belt, filters and cabin filter air conditioning. Then the things mentioned that I remember are: a set of front and rear bearings, a catalytic converter, a temperature sensor - because last winter my Beetle started to dim after starting - and that was basically the only problem since I've been driving it, but after replacing this sensor the problem went away. I replaced the power steering system because the steering wheel was hard to turn. I replaced the battery with a new one about half a year ago. Some time ago the yellow Check Engine light came on in the car. The mechanic told me that it was "definitely a lambda probe" so I replaced this thing along with the front and rear pads (cost PLN 1,400) and it was ok, but a few days ago the light came on again. Now this mechanic says it's the throttle. And I would do it just like I did everything in this car, but I already have a Prius. As for the car itself: the Beetle is very lively, like a 2.0l petrol engine, and accelerates well. On the road you can easily drive 140-150 and there are no problems. It has never let me down, and it took me a while to cover the routes to Szczecin, Poznań and Wrocław. Considering that this is my first car, it has a bit of abrasion (the curbs are very high everywhere and I hit the door sills twice (photos) and I bumped the front and rear bumpers against some strange things in the parking lot (photos) - these bumpers are on truth ok. And the previous owner also rubbed it a bit, just like me. The previous owner also patched the rear left fender (in the photo). My dogs were traveling in the car, so the inside is a bit scratchy as the dogs are a bit hyperactive. Plastic on the inside of the right door broke because the dog in my yard jumped out of the open window and the plastic broke (photo). The right and left door handle is cracked, although glued properly, but it is not as good as new. Generally speaking, the car is ready to be driven and can be driven without any problems. I'm also adding original VW rims with summer tires. The car can be seen in Warsaw's Ursynów district or next to Galeria Mokotów. The insurance is valid until February 6, 2024. PS. These dog stickers are removable. Price is slightly negotiable. I will thank intermediaries with unreasonable prices.
