Seller's comments about 2000' Honda
Hello, I am putting up for sale my first HONDA VFR 800 motorcycle from 2000.
The time has come for a change, 6 years together have passed very quickly, a new motorcycle is waiting in the garage for the 2022 season.
I bought a VFR on 21/02/2015 with a mileage of 57,000 km, currently it is 72,712 km.
Honda has never let me down, I visited half of Poland, the Czech Republic and Austria.
A very dynamic and economical machine, powerful even at low revs. 90% of the kilometers covered are driven with a passenger. Very economical, combustion at a cruising speed of 140-160 about 4.5 liters.
I have two original keys for Honda, two alarm remotes and two sets of chest keys.
The motorcycle is equipped with: heated grips, crash bars, givi simply top case, kappa 40 side cases, cigarette lighter outlet, alarm and a trimmed seat.
Service and exchanges I remember:
04.2015 - Oil change, oil filter and air filter
04.2016 - Oil change and oil filter
04.2017 - Oil change, oil filter and air filter
04.2018 - Oil and oil filter change
04.2019 - Oil change, oil filter, air filter, coolant, clutch fluid and brake fluid
04.2020 - Oil change and oil filter
On 05.2020 I ordered custom-made crash bars that protect the motorcycle against expensive stops. The pattern of crash bars was taken from the VFRs of the Japanese Police.
On 06.2020, the complete drive, both sprockets and the chain, was replaced, I also replaced the set of candles and ordered the valves to be adjusted.
04.2021 Motul 4T 5100 10W40 oil change, oil filter and air filter.
05.2021 with a mileage of 69,000 km, the Pirelli Angel GT II tires (front 0721 Rear 0521) were fitted, the front brake discs and the front and rear pads were replaced.
At the end of the 2019 season, I put the bike down after starting from the headlamps, the fall was caused by an oil stain behind the headlamps. The speed is low, and the losses are quite high, you can see on the fairings on the front of the last photo. That is why I decided to make and assemble the crash bars I wrote about above. The crash bars saved us twice in the season of 2021 with two stopovers, with almost zero speed, one left and one right.
Very solid crash bars protect the motorcycle against breaking fairings, bending the handle, tearing off the turn signal and damaging the mirror.
For the 2022 season, the motorcycle requires an oil service.
