Hello and welcome,
The announcement concerns one of the most appreciated family cars on the market. Ford Galaxy 2.0 TDCI 140KM, 7 seater, factory version without DPF in a very nice and original green color.
The car is standing on 18 inch rims, currently one of the best winter tires is installed: Bridgestone Blizzak lm005 235/45/18 98V (bought new in 2020, year of production also 2020), additionally the set also includes premium summer tires: Pirelli Powergy 235/ 45/18 98Y XL (bought new in 2021, year of manufacture also 2021)
A brief history regarding the origin of the vehicle:
The car was produced in 2006 and its first registration took place in February 2007 in Belgium. It was brought to Poland at the end of 2008 and in the same year it found its first long-term owner in Poland. The car has been in one hands for 12 years since then - where the first mileage note in CEPIK is from 2015 and it is 166,000 km. Then the car was purchased by me in 2020, with a mileage of less than 250,000 km.
Many things have been done to the car immediately after purchase (2020), including:
-Replacement of front brake discs and pads
-Replacement of shock absorbers
- Suspension fixes
-Replacement of all filters, oils and fluids
-Full air conditioning service
-Cleaning and protecting the chassis
- Repair of parking sensors
-Adding to the current multimedia system of the BT system for playing music
In addition, a lot of expensive repairs have been made to the car over the past 2 years, the list of the larger ones, starting with the most recent:
2022:
-Repair of the wiring harness of the engine control computer and the computer itself
- Replacing the half shaft
-Replacement of rear brake calipers, rear pads, and adjustment of the handbrake
- Repair of the power steering system, replacement of the transmission, regeneration of the pump, replacement of the wheel steering sensors, replacement of the power steering fluid tank
- EGR replacement
-Replacement of the intake manifold (integrated with pneumothorax)
-Replacement of engine mounts and gearbox
-Replacement of front control arms and stabilizer links
-Clutch replacement (set - clutch, dual mass, slave cylinder)
2021:
- Regeneration of injections
-Regeneration of the injection pump
-Replacement of camshafts + timing chain and tensioner
-Replacement and adjustment of several rocker arms and valve tappets
- Repair of clock display
In the car, I changed filters and oil regularly every 10,000 km. So with a mileage of 250,000, 260,000, 270,000. The car has been cleaned and laundered prior to listing. Ozone disinfection was carried out, all filters and oil were replaced (Millers), I bought new floor mats and took the car to the diagnostic station. There were no objections at the diagnostic station, so the car also has a fresh MOT.

During the review, attention was paid only to sweating at the oil pan, and during the oil change itself, the mechanic noticed sweating at the timing case. According to information from the previous owner of the car, the timing belt was replaced in 2018 at a mileage of 220,000 km. I think that during the next oil service it is worth thinking about possibly replacing the timing belt - please take into account that the most expensive, i.e. its heart at the valves (shafts and chain) have been replaced, so it will only be necessary to replace what is on top. From replacement to replacement, I have never had to add oil, nor have I noticed its losses, which also proves the low scale of the problem.
Of course, there is no rose without thorns, due to the fact that I spent most of my finances on mechanical repairs, there are some image ''details'' to handle.
-Front driver's seat, has a small crack on the left side, additionally the leather on the front seats may need to be renewed, the back is in quite good condition
-You can think about replacing the skin of the jack from the gearshift bellows
-Sometimes there is a problem with the heating of the windshield (factory windshield from 2006), it heats the belt in front of the driver strongly, the rest is quite weak or not at all, I thought I would be able to find a "pebble" and replace the glass from the insurance, but nothing didn't make it :)
- The plastics of the mirrors are damaged (black frames)
- Rims a bit scratched
- Rear bumper (plastic-black) quite tired
As for the bodywork, I think it's ok, of course you have to take into account that the car is a few years old, there will be some scratches, mini dents, two larger ones (on the hatch and the passenger door), traces of some delicate touch-ups. However, the bodywork does not have any major defects or places with any damage. When buying and checking the car, I received information from the service that the whole car should have original paint - but I did not verify it in any other way.
To sum up, a very good, large and comfortable car. It was great for long distances and family trips all over Poland. First of all, the car is quite heavily invested and with a confirmed history, I can confidently say that all the most expensive repairs are behind it, it is known that a long-term car can always surprise, but here the possibilities with possible surprises are slowly ending. The tires alone cost over PLN 5,000, and I spent more on the rest of the repairs than the price of the car in the advertisement. Currently, it is the only car in our family, we plan to buy 2 smaller cars - 90% of the mileage I did, I did driving alone, hence the decision to sell. Of course, we can go check the car at a point convenient for us.
Please take into account that I am selling the car as a private person, I try to describe everything honestly, but sometimes you can forget something.
