Seller's comments about 2013' Volvo Xc 90

Good morning,
I am offering for sale a used Volvo XC90 of the first generation with a 3.2 petrol engine.
The car was privately imported from the USA in August 2021 - the car had minor bodywork damage and an engine failure - I included what the car looked like after arriving in Poland in the ad - if anyone wants, I can send more photos by e-mail before downloading the car (you can also found by entering the VIN number in the search engine).
The car is a 2013 model version (the title says "2013 Volvo XC90") - however, it left the showroom on 02/2012. When imported to Poland, it had approximately 150,000 km on it.
I use the car privately - it is still in constant use - if you are interested in viewing it, please contact:
1) Read the advertisement carefully
2) Please make an appointment in advance so that I have time to prepare the car for you - the car can be seen in Stare Babice near Warsaw (or somewhere in Warsaw, where I work every day)
Volvo is a nice, big and safe car. This copy has had a lot of operational repairs, so the new owner will have peace of mind with many things, but it also has a lot of flaws and imperfections. It has its age and mileage. I try to describe everything below so that no one will feel disappointed during the inspection.
What are the main disadvantages:
• The gearbox has been jerking for some time now. Some people write that Volvo has it like that and they tell me to drive it and observe it - I listened to that version and I drive it that way - it doesn't bother me much. But ultimately, you have to take into account the regeneration of the hydraulic clutch (99% of the time it is the reason for the gearbox operation).
• The body is beat up - here and there there is a dent on the door (typical for cars used in the city), and there is a scratch on the bumper. It turns out that the car came from the USA with some scratches, which was masked with black paste (so the scratches were not visible in the photos) - I didn't do anything about it - it doesn't bother me.
• The carpet is worn in one place on the driver's side
• The leather front seats need some care/refreshing
• Unfortunately, the discs (although they were replaced about 30,000 km ago) had to be slightly bent - this is manifested by a slight beating when braking hard at high speed - when driving <120 km/h it does not manifest itself
• The "check engine" light is on due to an error thrown by EVAP (an American invention that apparently does not exist in the European version) - it can be repaired or the error coded (I have run out of motivation to do this and got used to this light)
What's the plus:
• I am adding R18 Hankook Winter W330A winter tires to the car, purchased in January 2023 - previously I used all-season tires, but this year we drove the Volvo to the mountains for the first time for the holidays and for safety's sake I invested in good winter tires. Therefore, they are practically new - they have traveled about 5-10,000 km during the season.
• The car has undergone a full conversion from the US version to the European version - the front lamps have been replaced with the EU version (new lamps - not any used ones), the radio and digital displays have been recoded (which are currently in Polish) and additionally the speedometer dials and plastic panels have been replaced from the center console). There is no trace of the miles and farenhaits.
• The car was serviced and repaired by me only at reputable independent services specializing in Volvo - VIPSerwis (Radom), AutoInterus (Warsaw) and Volvo Łomianki. I have invoices for all repairs. I have done a lot of these repairs, so a new buyer can have peace of mind for a long time with at least the following things ;-)
What I've done in it so far:
2021:
○ Changing the oil in the gearbox (dynamic) (with a mileage of approx. 156,000 km)
○ Overhaul and repair of engine problems
○ Replacing brake discs and pads
○ Replacement of engine and gearbox mounts

2022:
○ 13PIN hook installation. This is the top version of the towbar - it is detached from the bottom with one hand movement, so when it is not used, the towbar installation in the car is not visible at all. It was installed to transport a bicycle platform - the car never towed a trailer.
○ Replacement of rear shock absorbers
○ Replacing the handbrake
○ Replacing the vacuum pump
○ Replacing the oil in the Haldex clutch (including filters) (at 165k km)
○ Bodywork repairs to damage from the USA (they didn't bother me in everyday use for a year)

2023:
○ Replacing the axle shaft
○ Air conditioning service including filling the system with new coolant + new cabin filter
○ Battery replacement
I tried to change the engine oil every 10-15k km. The last replacement was with a mileage of 176k, so 10k km ago - I leave the next replacement to the new buyer.
It's a really nice, big and safe car. It is not without its flaws, which I tried to describe well, but I think it can bring a lot of joy to the new buyer. You definitely need to invest in it - I tried to take it into account in its price.
I currently spend 90% of my time traveling around Warsaw by car and I no longer need such a large cargo space - I decided to sell the XC90 and buy something small for the city - this is the real reason for selling it.
